Collagen is the main structural protein of joints, tendons and ligaments. In hydrolyzed form, it is pre-cut into peptides to promote optimal absorption. It contributes to the mechanical strength of connective tissue and supports the strength of the joint structures stressed during exercise [1].
Glycine is the most abundant amino acid in collagen. It takes part in the synthesis of collagen fibers and in the proper functioning of connective tissue. Its intake also contributes to the regeneration of soft tissue, particularly during muscle recovery [2].
MSM is a natural source of organic sulfur, involved in the structure of cartilage. It contributes to joint comfort and takes part in tissue recovery after exercise. It is also recognized for supporting mobility and helping maintain normal joint function [3].
Glucosamine is a component naturally present in joint cartilage. It takes part in the regeneration of cartilage tissue and supports its resistance to repeated mechanical stress. In sulfate form, it is one of the most studied and recognized for supporting proper joint function [4].
Chondroitin is an essential component of cartilage. It takes part in its hydration, flexibility and resistance to compression. In synergy with glucosamine and MSM, it contributes to the protection of joints subjected to repeated loads [5][6].
Boswellia is a plant traditionally used to contribute to joint comfort. Its active compounds take part in modulating the inflammatory response and support joint mobility as part of regular physical activity [7][8].
Turmeric is recognized for its antioxidant properties and its action on oxidative stress. It takes part in protecting cells against inflammatory aggressions and contributes to maintaining joint mobility and comfort [9][10].
Manganese is a trace element that contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue and to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. It also takes part in bone mineralization and supports the structural integrity of the joints [11].
Copper is an enzymatic cofactor that takes part in the normal formation of collagen and in tissue regeneration. It also contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and to the protection of cells against oxidative stress [12][13].
